The Friends of the Elisha D. Smith Public Library advances library excellence in the Menasha community by mobilizing philanthropic support for capital improvements, programming, and technology upgrades. Most recently, the Friends played a pivotal role in raising the majority of funds for the librarys comprehensive $8.5 $9 million renovation and renewal project, enabling a transformed 46,000-square-foot facility, new makerspace (SMITHworks), additional meeting rooms, and enhanced community-learning infrastructure.
