Provided continuing education scholarships to nurses and other health professionals. Purchased an upper body ergometer exercise machine for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients. Purchased compression garments for lymphedema patients to prevent the return of swelling, allowing patients to regain use of the affected extremity. Provided emergency medications, durable medical equipment, and other health- related supplies to uninsured, under-insured, and low-income patients. Collaborated with Ride Connection to provide transportation for seniors, low- income patients, and patients with disabilities to medical appointments. Supported complementary therapies for cancer patients including nutrition education, exercise, art therapy and yoga classes. Supported child passenger safety seat activities for the community.
