Program 1 [2020]
Seashore Family Literacy is a multi-faceted organization. With a dedication to helping children, adults and families improve their lives and communities, Seashore offers a variety of programs for all ages and interests. All programs are free and take place at the DaNoble House, Center for Learning Building & JOY Garden or Green Bike Co-Op in Waldport, Oregon. During 2020 the After-school program served 20 students, but then ceased operations in March due to COVID. After-School Program - Adult volunteer mentors are paired with students to offer care, attention and academic guidance. Available for all ages Monday-Friday 3:00 - 5:30. Adult Literacy -One-to-one tutoring and GED prep help is available to adults at all stages of learning. Green Bikes- As it has since the beginning, the bike share program works onthe honor system. If a bike is tied up with a yellow rope, it is in use. If it is untied it is free to use.
