Cafe Support Services
The Cafe provides a safe refuge from the streets six days per week by providing free meals and coffee, several weekly recovery support meetings, classes and activities, and referrals to outside providers. During 2024, we served 7,105 meals to 622 unique individuals. We hosted 161 meetings of classes, workshops, and other activities; as well as hosted 560 recovery support meetings. The Cafe aims to address the shortage of peer specialists, trainings for service providers, and direct financial assistance for people in need in Skagit County. We facilitated three trainings in the last quarter of 2024 and made arrangements for more in 2025.
