Program 1 [2024]
In the State of Arizona, more than 900 youth age out of the foster care system annually, with almost half becoming homeless within three years. Foster360 combats this dismal statistic by providing safe and stable housing at two East Valley facilities in Mesa and Tempe for homeless, aged-out foster kids ages 18-24. Working in partnership with Barrow Neurological Institute, Honor Health, Northern Arizona University, Midwestern University, YMCA Youth Workforce, Maricopa Youth Workforce, and others, Foster360 nurtures these youth so they can capably and healthfully take charge of their lives and break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Foster360 provides a roof over vulnerable heads, food in their empty stomachs, and transportation to medical care and job training -- all within a safe environment. The young adults in this program ultimately experience reduced anxiety, decreased suicidal ideation, and cessation of drug use. Foster360 youth gain the life skills and confidence that allows them to lead the productive, fulfilling lives they richly deserve.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2023 – Jun 30, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$744.8K
