GUIDED BY THE JEWISH VALUES OF TZEDAKAH AND TIKUN OLAM, SOCIAL JUSTICE AND REPAIRING THE WORLD, JFCS IS THE OLDEST NON-PROFIT WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER, AND ONE OF THE LARGEST FAMILY SERVICES ORGANIZATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES, SERVING OVER 120,000 PEOPLE ANNUALLY. JFCS' MISSION IS TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL AND VOLUNTEER SERVICES FOR THE PURPOSES OF DEVELOPING, RESTORING, AND MAINTAINING THE COMPETENCY OF FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES WHILE EMPHASIZING INTER-GENERATIONAL TIES AND COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY. IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS MISSION, JFCS PROVIDES HIGH-QUALITY, RESEARCH-BASED SOCIAL SERVICES, THERAPEUTIC RESOURCES, AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, FAITHS, AND BACKGROUNDS.
