RESOURCE, REFERRAL AND TRAINING - Provide child care referrals, child rearing information and services to parents. Provide technical assistance and training for child care providers. Child Care Resource & Referral Services - 18,700 families assisted in seeking childcare.Parent Education - Held 366 family workshops.CARE - 15 workshops, serving 90 families & 20 children experiencing homelessness.Family Services - serving 35 foster care families, 170 families at Havenscourt Cubhouse and 139 parents with mental health warmline coaching. Hosted 660 family workshops.Health & Safety - 287 participants received CPR and Preventative Health Certificates.Professional Development for Child Care Providers - 72 workshops held, 1,420 child care providers served.Tiny Steps / HeadStart - 59 children served in 10 Family Child Care Homes in Oakland.Playgroups - 145 playgroup sessions, serving 120 kids and their caregivers to provide 1,565 learning experiences in numeracy, literacy, music, and art.Family Friend & Neighbor - served 45 child care providers and provided laptops to 30 child care providers.Diaper Distribution: 209,228 diapers distributed.STEM Materials Distribution: 400 child care providers served.Other Services: Bananas satellite office in East Oakland supports families and caregivers in that area. We continue to provide enhanced support to foster families and families experiencing homelessness.
