Los Rios Colleges Foundation

Programs
Program 1 [2018]
The Los Rios Foundation provided direct student support through scholarships to 642 students in the four Los Rios Colleges. For many students, this support can mean the difference between dropping out of college and successfully completing a degree, certificate or transfer program. Scholarship awards are contributed by generous individuals, corporations, foundations and employees. Scholarships cover the costs of attending college, textbooks, transportation and living expenses for students with a high level of financial need and/or outstanding academic performance. The Los Rios Scholarship program supports deserving students including foster youth, veterans, single parents and at-risk low income populations. In addition, $46,754 was awarded to keep 48 students in school with emergency needs such as sudden food insecurity or homelessness through the Los Rios Student Emergency Fund.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2017 – Jun 30, 2018Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$796KProgram 2 [2018]
