Program 1 [2018]
Adult Programs:Approx. 800 adults enrolled in our English Language and Literacy Program and Adult Newcomer Community Engagement Program. Our priority student population are adults reading at four English language levels: Literacy, Low Beginner, High Beginner, and Low Intermediate. (Levels according to the National Reporting System for Adult Education.) RT students English gains exceeded the California state averages (including adult schools, community colleges, and other community-based organizations) in all four of those levels. Youth Programs:Approx. 1,700 youth enrolled in our Bridge-2-Success Youth Development Program and Youth Newcomer Community Engagement Program and achieved significant outcomes. RTs high school graduation rate for students attending our home-based tutoring or after-school programs is 86%. This rate surpasses that of English learners in California by 18%.
