Family Violence Intervention Services provided comprehensive support to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, as well as community-based prevention and awareness trainings for youth, parents/caregivers, and professionals. During July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 the FVIS department served 16,787 individuals countywide. This included 1,725 victims of domestic violence, 29 victims of human trafficking and facilitated prevention awareness trainings for 8,456 youth and adults. Interface staff also engaged with 6,577 individuals through community outreach events.
