2023 was a tough year. We experienced a turnover in staff beginning in 2021, which continued into2023. We received three large grants in 2022, which were reimbursable grants, which we were not able to be reimbursed during the tax year 2022 and/or full or partial tax year 2023 for different reasons, although we were working on the grants. Two of them came from the State of California and were three-year grants, for a total of $900,000. One grant we were able to recover our income from 2022, and only through February 2023.
