  • AmbassaDOOR Internship Program

    AmbassaDOOR Program - involves hiring, training, coaching and supporting high school interns located in Marion County, Indianapolis, Indiana public high schools. During 2024, we provided hands-on, paid work-experience to 2 cohorts of Ambassadors (total of 32 students) and used them to engage in promotion and outreach of the Exploradoor platform to their peers at their respective schools via tabling events, classroom presentations and interactions with students/counselors.

  • Exploradoor Platform Program

    Exploradoor Platform Program - is the foundational element of the AmbassaDOOR Program and Exploradoor generally. The Exploradoor.com platform is home to programs and experiences, including internships and jobs, that is made available and useable to target student users, to enable them to find and apply for experiences that enable their individual educational or career pathways. During 2024, the platform served over 33,000 visitors. Half of those visitors were from Indiana and over 70% of those were from Central Indiana. Over 1700 students connected to program, 89% of which indicated they were first time applicants. 71% of applicants identified as racial or ethic minorities and 64% as low-income.

  • Community Outreach and Engagement

    Community Outreach Program - this program consists of participation in school and community events, presentations and career fairs throughout Central Indiana in order to reach students, families and schools to share information about Exploradoor and featured programs and grow subscriber and user bases. This program relies on college student interns to attend over 50 events over the course of the year, as well as development and placement of social media ads, email campaigns and other informational outreach. During 2024, we worked with 9 College Interns, 56% of which were minority group members.
