•  Boston’s ecosystem is 4x larger by revenue at $118.6B, quarterbacked by MIT and Harvard, compared to Seattle at $30.1B, strongly driven by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation 

• Boston nonprofits received $3.4B across 44,400+ grants, while Seattle's scored $934M across 15,900+ grants

• Ecosystem revenue growth was a tight game, with Seattle's increasing by +127% in a 5 year span, while Boston's grew by +125% in the same time period
